Newborn Session: Lance

Lance was such a sweetheart who wanted to only sleep in his mama's arms, as soon he would be set down he would not stay asleep. This was a challenge, but he would be calm for a few moments in between and I could capture some candid shots of him hanging out in a warm cozy blanket in the middle of the weeds and trees. His older brother Buddy was great with him and was a little nervous holding him, but with some words of encouragement he felt more at ease.

I just love photographing newborns, there are just so amazing and angelic.

Working with a 3 year old, 9 year old and a few month old twin boys was very challenging to say the least. I have to thank Shannon and Jared for being so calm thru the process and helping keep everyone happy! In the end it was so rewarding, when I was photographing these images I was so touched by the sweetness of the kids as they interacted with each other. Lennix was so endearing and loving towards her little brothers whenever they would get upset. She would quickly try to rock them and give them their pacifier. Kody was an amazing big brother holding one of the boys so proudly while he rocked him to stay calm.
This is why I love doing what I do. Being able to capture these priceless moments forever. Enjoy the many images below, I had a hard time choosing.

New Finds...

Today I had a goal to find at least 1 thing that I could use for my photo shoots, and I was lucky enough to find much more. Below are some of my recent findings...

Kody, Cole and Sophie (my little darlings) are testing them out for me. Sophia Especially loves the Tricycle, getting up and going back to down over and over again. Watching Cole and Kody ride the the bike together was pretty cute too. LOVE my babies and love my new props!

Children: Ryan

Ryan is one of my favs to shoot, she has such intense blue eyes and this dress she is wearing really brings them out even more. Impromptu mini photo shoots are always fun cause you never know what you are going to get. I just felt like to hanging out and snapping a few images while my kids were exploring in the dirt close by.
