And the weather called for rain... with our luck it was a perfect day at the Santa Monica Pier. I have never experienced the water being so far out. We had a fun time playing in the sand, exploring the sand creatures and getting muddy and wet. Little Ryan was quite the explorer. We went under the pier and found lots of huge starfish stuck to the pier and also just laying on the sand. I have never seen so many at one time in one place. Then we found some free balloons and decided to add them into some of the photos. Ryan was amused by them for sure and that kept her busy for a while. Good Times!!

This happy as can be little girl is Gianna. She was adorable and so sweet to photograph. Her big brown eyes are amazing. Our last session together was when she was still in her mama's belly and then a newborn. I really enjoy being able to photograph families as they grow and see all the changes that happen over time.

Newborn: Charolette

This little doll is Charolette, She was gem to work with. So peaceful and innocent, I adore this stage in their life.

Sr. Portraits: Sarah

A slideshow of some of my favorites.. 

We had a blast meeting up yesterday and shooting some creative images of Sarah with some of her favorite things. Sarah is really into cooking up new things so we thought it would fun to include some of that into her photos. She also has a passion for Anne of Green Gables, and how perfect is the setting with the big white house.

Lots of outfit choices that she brought made it so fun and we could have been shooting for at least another hour. Thanks Dawn and Sarah for a great time.
