Richmond Virginia Family Photography: Dalton Family

From the sandy banks of the James River and the plush green foliage that lies along the waters edge we had a fun family session. These people, this location it all has a special place in my heart. I feel honored to be apart of their family to capture their love for one another....Early morning sunlight lights their souls and I LOVE it. The sun's rays make me happy and I love to find them wherever I go.

Southern CA Family Photography: Irvine Regional Park

Finding new places to photograph families is always a fun thing. My dear friends Matt and Laura moved to the OC and we needed a fun place to go. When I lived in Irvine many years ago I loved to go to Irvine Regional Park with my kids, there are so many fun things to do with the kids there and not mention it is a photographers paradise. I swear I saw like 15 different sessions at one time all in the same spot. I do like to find unique locations for most of my sessions, so I steered away from the crowds and found a quite little meadow of trees all to ourselves.

Southern CA Family Photography: Orcutt Ranch

I just love this time of year, and it feels more like Christmas when its nice and cool with some much needed rain. It is sad too because the family portrait sessions are now starting to slow down before christmas.  I really enjoy being able to get to know new families and continue to photograph my current clients and their families and seeing all the little ones grow a little taller.

Ventura County, CA- Newborn Photography: Sweet Little Eddie

Meet Eddie, he is about a week old when we had his photo session at his home. He was such a joy to work with as well as the rest of the family. His older sister loves having a baby brother in the house.
Having a newborn in the house is magical.. they have such a sweet innocence. The whole mood in the home changes when you bring your newest little life home. I feel so blessed to be apart of the first few days of their life that you can never get back. Being able to capture the pureness of each little one. Standing time still for that moment that a father embraces his new son and looks at him adoringly. And the look you get from an older sister as she gets to hold her new brother for her first time. The joy, anticipation and wonder in her eyes is forever real and precious.
